HAI Webinars

Today I posted the Questions and Answers document for the June 4th Surveillance Webinar to the HAI website.  I also posted a PDF of the PowerPoint presentation used during this Webinar.

Most of HAI's Webinars are recorded and available on the Webinar page.  Additionally, HAI normally provides a download of both the presentation used in the Webinar and a Question and Answer document that provides a list of all of the questions asked during the Webinar and their answers.

Links on the HAI Blog

You may have noticed that on the right hand side of the blog that there is a list of Links to other HAI sites and to some of our favorite home automation industry blogs.  We have no official affiliation with these other sites that we link to; we just like to read them and wanted to share them with our blog readers.  If you haven't had a chance to read them, there is some great content on home automation out there.

For example, back on July 2nd CEPro's site posted an article titled "What Will Make Home Automation Mainstream?"  On July 4th the Home Controls blog had an excellent post in response to the CEPro Article.  Both articles are very well thought out and worth reading.  Check out the original CEPro posting at http://www.cepro.com/article/what_will_make_home_automation_mainstream/  and the Home Controls Blog post at http://homecontrolsblog.wordpress.com/2008/07/04/148/

I encourage you all to check out both articles and read what some very smart people are saying about our industry.

HAI Adding Forum Software to Support Websites

By the end of this month (July 2008) HAI will be adding forum support to the Dealer, Distributor, and Developer support websites.

The forums will only be available to users that have valid HAI logins and will not be available to the general public.  Note that guest dealers will not have forum access - it is another great reason to become a listed dealer!

Product Discontinued: Wireless Receiver for GE InterLogix

HAI is no longer selling the Wireless Receiver for GE InterLogix (HAI Part Number 42A00-1). This product has been discontinued and is out of stock.

At the end of July HAI will introduce a replacement part; however, there will be a price increase because the parts from GE for their latest receiver are priced higher than the previous parts.

HAI Wireless LogoNow might be a good time to try HAI's wireless receiver product line, especially since the wireless receiver was significantly improved this Spring.

The HAI Wireless products are all now in stock and available for order.
